History
Powers, Kinder & Keeney was founded as Rhode Island’s first firm devoted exclusively to representing employers in labor and employment law litigation. Over the next 20 years the firm would establish itself as expert counsel on labor and employment law issues.
1993 Christopher Little founds practice.
1995 John Bulman joins him.
1999 Christopher Whitney joins firm.
Matthew Medeiros joins firm.
Henry Kates joins group. |
During the next decade the firm gained recognition as an authority in complex business litigation and construction law.

2003 Little Bulman Medeiros & Whitney merged with Powers Kinder & Keeney. The merger enabled the combined firm to leverage its regional and national expertise. The talent of the two firms creates a tremendous resource for businesses and institutions immersed in complex legal matters.
